Andrea Tangherloni

Andrea is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Bocconi University. From November 2018 to November 2020, he was a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, Wellcome Trust – Medical Research Council Cambridge Stem Cell Institute, and Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. From December 2020 to November 2022, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow at the University of Bergamo. From December 2022 to August 2023, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow at Bocconi University. His main research interests include Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, Computational Intelligence, and High-Performance Computing. He aims to integrate these cutting-edge computational strategies to address complex and computationally intensive problems in biology and medicine.
