Nicolas Brunel is a professor in the department of Computing Sciences at Bocconi University. He builds and investigates theoretical models of brain systems at various levels to investigate how they process and store information from their inputs. Current work focuses on the mechanisms of learning and memory, from the synapse to the network level, in collaboration with various experimental groups.
